| Goodes booed by Victorian crowd |
Indigenous AFL star Adam Goodes has been booed at his first match in Melbourne since he took time out from the game.
Goodes's team the Sydney Swans played the St Kilda Saints at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
St Kilda fans booed Goodes when he touched the ball early in the game then again when he kicked a goal in the the second quarter.
Goodes took a break from the game earlier this month, saying the consistent booing of him by opposition supporters has racist undertones.
The moved sparked a conversation within the AFL and the wider community about the treatment of Indigenous Australians.
Some fans in the stadium took to Twitter to express their condemnation.
