NEWS TRAIL:
Ham, cheese and pineapple bagels Ingredients: 4 plain bagels, halved, toasted 1/4 cup mayonnaise 300g double smoked ham slices 1/5 small pineapple, skin removed, thinly sliced 125g cheddar cheese, grated 3/4 cup alfalfa sprouts Hot chips, to serve
Method: 1.Spread each bagel half with mayonnaise. Top with ham, pineapple and cheese. Place onto grill tray, in 2 batches if necessary.
2.Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Grill bagels for 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted and bagels are warmed through. Top with sprouts. Serve with chips.
