Camp outside Woolies and bring a bong: Wicked's bad advice |
IT'S not only the slogans on the side of Wicked Campers that alarm some people.
The website includes a photo of a woman smoking a bong in the front of a car in its "Bris-bong to Fraser Island" trip.
And the company suggests people looking to save money on accommodation should camp outside Woolworths.
Already Wicked has found itself in trouble with Noosa Council for encouraging its customers to park illegally in some spots.
HAS WICKED FINALLY MET ITS MATCH?
This may explain the partly unflattering description of the region by Wicked's "Johnny Feelgood":
"Full of old people and young, sexually frustrated males, the Sunshine Coast and Noosa offer very pretty beaches, very pretty waves and very pretty people (apart from the old ones).
"Often referred to as 'God's waiting room', Noosa has tried for 20 years to manifest a cosmopolitan cafe culture, but seemingly falls short.
"But with beaches like Noosa Headland and Sunshine Beach, they can manifest whatever the f**k they want - it's still got so much natural beauty that you'd be crazy to drive past it.
"If you like hippies and trees and s**t, then head inland a little to Eumundi."
