| Angus Hawley, ex-husband of Antonia Kidman, reportedly dies in New York |
ANTONIA Kidman’s ex-husband Angus Hawley has died in New York.
Details surrounding Hawley’s death are unknown although friends and family have been told he suffered a heart attack in the United States over the weekend.
The 46-year-old former brother-in-law of movie star Nicole Kidman fathered four children - Lucia, Hamish, James and Sybella — with Antonia before the couple split in 2007.
In 2011, Hawley married Paddington fashion boutique owner Prue Fisher.
Hawley is understood to have been in New York for work, travelling with businessman friend, Peter Christopher.
Close friend Justin Hemmes paid tribute to Hawley.
“I first met Angus when I was four,” Hemmes said.
“He was my next door neighbour but quickly became a best friend, one I was fortunate enough to have by my side ever since.
The most caring, thoughtful and loving man. I’m going to miss his wit, charm, remarkable sense of humour and his unwavering love and support.”
Hemmes continued with his emotional tribute: “A true friend in every way, a man amongst men. The most loving father to his four wonderful children and adoring wife. His family was his treasure. His kids were his life.
He would tell me every other day how much he loved his kids and how fortunate he was in life to be blessed with them.
I loved him so much.
I’ve lost something so very special in my life that cannot be replaced. I’m going to miss you so much Ang.”
