A 67-year-old South Australian tourist reported missing on Thursday night in the state's Kimberley region has been found.

The man was located near Mitchell Falls on Friday with some cuts and bruises, but in relatively good health, according to WA Police.

Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said earlier the man was with a group of European tourists on a walk in the Mitchell River National Park, around the Mitchell Plateau area, when he became separated from his group.
"The tourists continued walking along the river and arrived at the Mitchell camp site last night where they reported the man missing to police and rangers," she said.

The man was flown to Ranger Station for receive attention.
